The Premix 12 concrete high-tech turbomixer is a system for the production of cement paste by mixing cement with water and additives.
The Premix 12 prepares cement paste and discharges it into a truck mixer simultaneously with the aggregate feed. The truck mixer completes the mixing of the cement paste with the aggregates. The cement paste is fed into the truck mixer in such a way as to obtain a perfect distribution of the cement paste in the bulk of the aggregates, thus obtaining a homogeneous concrete.
One single batch can produce sufficient cement paste to load a 12 m³ truck mixer.

Water Tank
Clean water holding tank to speed up the water dosage and automatic washing cycles
Control Cabin
A 2m x 1.5m control cabin contains the fully automatic control board of the Premix 12 which is linked with the host concrete batching plant control system.
Automatic Washing
High pressure washing of the inside of the mixer is performed automatically after every batch using a system composed of rotating nozzles which are lowered pneumatically into the mixing tank. The water which remains in the vat after the washing cycle is automatically computed in the dosage of the following batch.
Mixing Vat
A capacity of 4,130 litres provides sufficient quantity of mixture for 12 m³ truck mixer loading. Equipped with butterfly valves with electro-pneumatic actuators for the automatic operation of the loading, mixing, discharge and washing phases.
Weighing System
The mixer is installed on four load cells for accurate recipe formulation with additive added by weight or volume.
Features
Cement Conveying
Two pipe systems are installed, one for conveying the cement paste to the truck mixer loading point and the other for recirculating the cement paste.
Clean Water Dosage
Clean water holding tank is installed on top of the mixing vat to speed up the water dosage and automatic washing cycles.
Reclaimed Water Dosage
The Premix 12 can also use reclaimed water, which is discharged directly into the mixing vat in order to avoid sediments and deposits.
Mixing Vat
Mixing is performed both by stirrers placed in the mixing vat and by recirculation through a specifically designed centrifugal pump with automatic monitoring of the water/cement mix.
Truck Mixer Loading
The truck mixer loading cycle works automatically with the concrete batching plant with no changes to the operating procedure required by the operator and no delay to the loading cycle.
Control System
The Premix 12 software module is added to the PC of the concrete batching plant and automatically handles the truck mixer loading operation via the Premix 12.
